This month I was awarded funding by Manchester School of Art (Manchester Metropolitan University), where I am a Lecturer of Art History and Curating. The support will enable a research trip to Berlin this April, where I will examine holdings at the Georg Kolbe Museum - part of my Early Career Researcher status at the uni. I first visited the GKM in February 2022 for my PhD and became interested in the opportunity to delve into Kolbe and links to British art, something thus far entirely unexplored. Huge thanks to MMU, and to Dr Elisa Tamaschke at the GKM for the continued encouragement and support. I look forward to visiting again, and seeing what I can find.
